Chick-fil-A Is Adding 4 Exciting Summer Items To the Menu Next Week

Not that we needed another reason to look forward to summer after the harsh winter months and rainy spring season, but the introduction of summer menu items at prominent fast-food restaurants is surely a plus!

The past week has been particularly exciting for fast-food fans looking for a summer refresh at their favorite restaurants.

Wendy’s just relaunched its seasonal Summer Strawberry Salad for a limited time, Popeyes permanently reintroduced its Blackened Chicken Sandwich, and Chick-fil-A has just announced that it is also joining the summer launch train.

Beginning June 12, the beloved chicken chain’s menu will expand with four new and returning products, providing customers an additional set of food and beverage options to pick from throughout the warmest season.

Two of these additions are seasonal items that Chick-fil-A brings back each year to celebrate the arrival of summer.

The chain is also testing a brand-new chicken sandwich and launching a breakfast meal that was previously only available at limited locations nationwide, so many fans will be able to try something new at Chick-fil-A.

Here are the four great summer items coming to Chick-fil-A next week.

Peach milkshake

If the warm weather doesn’t tell you that summer has arrived, the return of the Peach Milkshake certainly will. Chick-fil-The item was first presented in 2009, and it has since become a staple of the chain’s seasonal menu.

Chick-fil-Chef Angela Canada was inspired by her family’s recipe for homemade peach ice cream when she set out to produce the best version of this chilly, sweet delight.

The milkshake went through almost 15 different variations before the chain settled on the recipe that customers know and love today.

The Peach Milkshake combines Chick-fil-A’s creamy, vanilla-flavored Icedream dessert with peaches, topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

It will only be available until August 26th, or while supplies last, so fans should not wait too long before coming over to their local restaurant to grab one.

White Peach Sunjoy

The chain’s returning White Peach Sunjoy is another option for satisfying your stone fruit craving. This delicious drink, introduced in 2018, combines Chick-fil-A’s signature lemonade, sweetened iced tea, and white peach tastes.

Customers can also add the white peach tastes to Chick-fil-A’s iced tea, lemonade, or Frosted Lemonade, which is a creamy blend of lemonade and Icedream.

This beverage, like the Peach Milkshake, will be offered at selected restaurants worldwide until August 26th, or while supplies last.

Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich

If you live in Indianapolis, Indiana, or Lexington, Kentucky, and want to try something new with your Chick-fil-A meals, you’re in luck.

The chain is introducing a new Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich in certain markets, which adds sweet, smoky, and citrusy flavors to its standard grilled chicken sandwich.

The sandwich is made with grilled lemon herb marinated chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and bacon seasoned with brown sugar and pepper.

Chick-fil-A offers all of these tasty ingredients on a buttered and toasted maple-flavored brioche bun.

“I grew up loving maple syrup, so I was excited to include it into our newest chicken entrée, the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich.

“The sweetness of the maple syrup complements the smoky flavors of the grilled chicken and the hint of spice from the pepper jack cheese and pickles,” Christy Cook, a Chick-fil-A chef and the sandwich’s creator, said in a statement.

Though the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich will be available in a limited number of markets at first, fans might hope that the test is successful enough to persuade Chick-fil-A to expand its distribution later.

Spicy Chicken Biscuit

It is now only accessible in the United States, but it will be available in all restaurants nationwide beginning Monday.

The morning dish includes a portion of the chain’s distinctive boneless chicken breast seasoned with a “spicy blend of peppers,” hand-breaded, fried, and served with a buttermilk biscuit.

This new addition will give more variety and spice to Chick-fil-A’s breakfast menu, which already includes normal Chicken Biscuits, burritos, Hash Brown Scrambles, and a selection of breakfast sandwiches.

The best news of all is that the Spicy Chicken Biscuit will become a permanent menu item after it releases nationally next week, so customers won’t have to worry about losing their breakfast option in a few weeks or months.
